Queensland, Australia I had been shooting in and around Noosa for a week trying to capture the perfect sunset, and I had tried many locations and compositions in order to get the mood I was after. Exploring this cove, I picked out a section of barnacle covered rocks that I knew would create an interesting foreground and set up my tripod precariously. As evening approached, amazing swirling patterns appeared in the sky, and as sunset intensified the fiery glow spread across the horizon before fading into night.
